When is the next release?

Actually, I intended to create this post as a poll, but I couldn't think of any options to give and I don't want to limit you to give your opinion freely.

Honestly, I have never been a full time Linux user. I started with Ubuntu from year 2005 but didn't really stick to it for a very long time. And when I decided to come back to Linux from Windows, this is the time when I discovered PCLinuxOS. But somehow, I think PCLinuxOS is too bloated with too many softwares that I think I will never use. So Ubuntu is still a better option for me until MiniMe comes out. And now, things are even better with TinyMe and more with TinyMe 2008.1.

I don't dare to say that my TinyMe is still really tiny. With my preferred apps installed, it actually takes up 1.5GB of my hard disk space. But I like it, with my own chosen apps, my own customization, I am now a TinyMe. Furthermore, I am really glad to be a part of this small community which makes my Linux learning more enjoyable. Thanks, KDulcimer and Joble and also all the other members of TinyMe and PCLinuxOS. And I have found myself in enjoying the work of packaging some small apps (I still think that big apps should go to 'BIG' person so that I won't mess up everything).

Every now and then, I am looking for alternative linux distro but I still prefer this small distro which gives me a feeling of home. ;D

Just a couple of things:

I installed TinyME 2008.0 this week. Kernel is 2.6.28.8
After trying it out, it seems to work quite well, really light weight and good on the memory usage.

However, it has been a real pain trying to find out how to (despite exhaustive search on google):

1) Change the logon sound. I would like to change the logon sound to no sound. There's no settings in PCC or TinyCC.
2) Change from single click to double click on lauching applications via the desktop icons. Eventually I found that it's the .ideskrc that controls this.
3)Netgear WG111v2 does not work. Tried using ndiswrapper with no luck. My SSID is set to not broadcast in the router.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
