How do Sylpheed Actions work ?
Just configured Sylpheed 2.5.0 for the first time to fetch and send gmail, works great and is blindingly fast (even on this old PIII with 128MbRam only) ! But, would like sylpheed to make a sound, any sound, bleep or better play some music file, when new mail is received.
There is a feature under : Settings>Actions , where you can enter :
- a Menu name
- a command
If somebody could give me clue to how to accomplish this, I would be very grateful !
Did a search in online manuals, but most are outdated or in Japanese, not my strong point.
There is some syntax help in the actions box, but out of my league as well....
Thanks

For a command, you could put in "ogg123 /path/to/the/sound".
