samba-server wants to eat my installation
Hello all,

I have been trying to install samba-server via synaptic. The option to install via the Mount Points option always fails.

When I mark samba-server to be installed, it tells me that a whole slew of unrelated items will be uninstalled! Abiword, Aumix, and gdm are some examples.

See an image here: http://fwt.txdnl.com/6-10/d/c/dcbevins/i...atsosY.jpg

This also happens if I try to install perl-ldap.

I could have easily missed this and wound up with a very crippled system?

Any ideas?

[solved] Re: samba-server wants to eat my installation
I just did that, the Mount Points now installs samba-server.
