Touchpad tapping....
HiSmile

I just installed TinyMe on my Compaq Presario 2170us Laptop (dualboot with XP).
I've been a Linux user for a couple of years, mainly with Ubuntu and derivatives.
Since my laptop is a little older, I thought I'd give this a whirl.... so far, so good. Sad
Usually, adding Option "MaxTapTime" "0" right after Option "SHMConfig" "on" gets rid of the tapping...but not in TinyMe.

I hate the tapping .... so please tell me how to turn it off.

Thanks! <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" />

Yes. When I opened Synaptic to check for updates,I entered "synaptics" as a search and it showed as already installed.

Re: Touchpad tapping....
Can you please post your xorg.conf?
Also, have you tried the program gsynaptics to configure your touchpad?
