RE: TinyMe-2010-Beta-1 WIFI
Paul, sorry to be coming back to this topic again, but in your opinion, is the zd1211 package working?

I'm trying to clear out the bug list for the next release.

Did a fresh install on my Toshiba L300D. Package is working. Switching back and forth from the USB and the onboard wifi requires a little work but if you do a cold start, everything works fine.

Updated through Smart Package Manager and it works fine as well.
(Unfortunately my desktop if blank after the updates)

Booted with new kernel and system freezes so I cannot check it out.

Hope this helps,

Paul

I've found that sometimes the system appears to freeze on first boot of the new kernel. However on my Tosh, my wifes Acer and on my Eeepc the power button gives a clean shutdown and the next boot all works fine, it's just the keyboard and mouse that aren't working on first boot.

Hope this helps.

Richard.

RE: TinyMe-2010-Beta-1 WIFI
Just wanted to follow up. I have the Belkin USB network adapter working with the Beta2 release on my PIII Dell Latitude. I had to install zd1211 as well as zd1211 firmware files to get it to work. The firmware file is not selected when you install the other zd1211 files.

I hope that the keyboard layout is fixed as it is a PITA to cross ref one layout to another.

Also need the video card selection to be fixed as well.

If you need any info I will be happy to send it over.

Thanks,

Paul
