CPU/memory
I got it installed on an Intel 550 with 192mb of RAM. It had a hard time, or bogged down some. I was using the MB Video port and then read "somewhere" there are problems with Intel xx810 Chipsets & linux. So, maybe if i use a standalone video card, it would give it alittle more gas!? Or, am i expecting too much ? If not the Chipset, then maybe i am a little short on CPU or memory!? I also have a PIII 600 i could try on, which also has more memory slots. *Nice forum by de way, mike

Re: CPU/memory
192MB should be plenty of memory. Can you tap the ESC key while it's booting up and see where it stops?

Re: CPU/memory
It's at work. So, not until Monday. But, i think i actually got to the desktop. But clicking icon/menu didn't open anything. *Right now I'm on a Semp.2600 with 1GB Mem. & boot beta2= Midori doesn't run but the other stuff opens. I guess i could try these on my T41 or R50 and see how they fare!? Tanx! mike
